Château de Lassus
Belgium
Comprising a medieval tower, a classical façade (17th-18th century), and a more modern section (1897), Château de Lassus, built of local stone, is an exceptional ensemble. Set in a green setting on the banks of one of Wallonia’s most beautiful rivers, the Ourthe, it has always inspired artists, including writers, painters, and musicians.
A private residence, it opened to the public in 2017 with the creation of a family gîte in one half of the château. Our ancient residence also hosts a variety of social and cultural activities: family celebrations, film shoots, concerts, art exhibitions, etc.
Organizing classical music concerts is perfectly in keeping with the spirit of our house, since the owners’ family has included many musicians and music lovers over the past century.
