PROJECT
Circle of Emotions
The project includes a concert format that traverses the six main emotions associated with six different movements from the string quartets of Beethoven, the composer who symbolises the exaltation of man and his feelings. The pieces are associated with the various facets of the emotion in question and actively dialogue with a multimedia show of lights, projections and sound effects akin to the character of the music created especially during the 5-day workshop in Athens by Dutch artist Cor Langerak.
Before and at the end of the performance, which has no interruptions and follows a single flow of music and images/art, the musicians and artist explain to the audience the particularities of the pieces, the links with the primary emotion and the audiovisual effects.
