PROJECT
Dream, discovery, obsession, death
This is a concert with a focus on storytelling. The project will explore how composers of four different cultures and eras tell a story in their own unique voices. The audience is also invited to connect with the music—some of which they will likely have never heard before —by relating it to their own personal narratives and experiences. Through a combination of artistic performance, background presentation, and audience engagement, the listeners will leave with a broad view of how stories are communicated through music across cultures.
